TCGs
TCG stands for Trading Card Game, which I am sure you see alot of at your local stores being sold. But the kind you are seeing right now is free! and Online. You play games, Trade with others, and a whole lotta fun. I really hope you consider joining the fun, if you do don't for get to read the rules!
Dark Arts
Dark arts is a Harry Potter TCG, that does not feature the dark arts, but it uses it as it's name and theme. Alot of things in this tcg are centered on the good and evil of everything!
Teams
Yes, you have to be on a team, no you do not have to participate with it. That said, everyone will be put onto one of four teams, you do not get to choose your team, it is random. Now the teams are kinds like the Four Houses at hogwarts, you have team strong holds and you will be compete for other teams.
The four teams are
-Death Eaters
-Ministry
-Order of the Pheonix(ootp)
-Dumbledore's Army(da)
Each team has a password protected page, that leads to their Base. Every Month there will be some sort of interteam game, that you all will compete with, which will be announced in the neutral territory which you can find on the games page.
Each team will have a deck of cards named after them, these cards can be traded by them selves between team members, but when trading them with another team you have to have another trade going on.
Good<--->Evil
Good and evil is another unique(i think) system Dark Arts Offers. Well Semi-unique, the idea is based off of the Games Fable. You can be good or evil if you choose to participate in this activity. There will be various things you can do to become one or another.. You can also be a balance of both by performing an even point value of the quests. For instence you could be asked to turn spy on your team, or asked to figure out how to cheat a certain game for evil. Or for good, you could be asked to hunt down something, or you could be designated to find the spy. The points and cards you recieve will be given on how you perform your task, how quickly it is done, and what the task is! Each person who joins will recieve random emails at anytime with a new task! You can accept or deny because you cannot designate whether I will send you a good or evil task. When you become fully good or evil you wil get a unique badge with your special evil or good title and your member name on it. You level up your evilness and goodness just as you would regularly level up, except for the fact this level up has nothing to do with card counts, only how many good or evil points you have. If you are choosing to be one extreme or the other, but I send you a task or the opposite, you may except it but your bar will shrink away from your chosen extreme rather than grow. For example:
Lets say I want to be good.
I get sent a evil task that has a prize reward that I really want.
I may accept it but what ever points i earn are negative to the good, and I become more evil, the points can always be made up later.
Each player will get a unique level bar that everytime they complete a task will move up or down.
Levels
For each level up you recieve you will get 2 choice cards and 2 random cards, and 20 points to your team's monthly score.

Currency
Our currency is run by horcruxes here a Dark Arts. It goes 1, 5, 10, and 20 being the highest. Currency will be able to be used to buy you pretty much anything. Card will be on the market, sprite, even points for your team or Good and Evil Points.

Coupons
Coupons are well they are pretty self explainitory. We have 1 choice reg, 1 choice special, 1 random regualr, 1 random special, 2 choice regular, and 2 random regular.

Mastery
To master a deck all you have to do is collect all 20 cards in the deck Easy yeah? For Mastering A deck you get to choose a shiney mastery badge from the choices we have for that deck, you get two random cards, and one choice, plus 10 horcruxes. Happy Collecting!
Starter Pack
Starter pack will have 3 cards worth 1(2 regular 1 puzzle) 2 Choice cards worth 1 and 1 Special card worth 2. You will recieve your starter pack right away, and will have 2 weeks to put your cards up. If for some reason you cannot get your pack up with in the time limit just email me with your reason and you can sit on a pending list until you can get your cards up. ^_^
